As a Personal Banker II at Cadence Bank, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by processing routine banking transactions and fostering strong customer relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of customer needs, allowing you to recommend the most suitable personal and business financial products and services. You will be part of a cross-functional team in a universal banking model, which means you will assist clients with a variety of banking needs, ensuring they receive comprehensive support. This role is primarily on-site, emphasizing the importance of face-to-face interactions in building trust and rapport with customers. In this position, you will support the transactional needs of the banking center while also identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships. You will be responsible for opening and processing both moderate to complex consumer and basic small business deposit accounts, providing tailored solutions to help businesses manage their cash flow effectively. Your role will also involve limited origination of simple consumer lending products, such as personal loans and credit cards, which will require you to educate customers on alternative banking channels, including online and mobile banking options. Meeting or exceeding individual sales and referral objectives is a key aspect of this role, as you will be measured by your performance on a sales and referral scorecard. You will handle cash transactions and adhere to proper balancing procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Regulation E. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a thorough knowledge of the bank's products, fees, and current offers to assist customers effectively. Your contributions will extend beyond individual transactions; you will also engage in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities and financial literacy initiatives, creating a positive impact within the communities we serve.
