About the position

We are Seeking a Personal Lines Assistant Underwriter to join our growing team in Maitland, FL. This role provides various technical and clerical support to assist the underwriting team in managing new and renewal policies and agency relationships. The Personal Lines Assistant Underwriter also helps to provide solutions and customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Process Endorsement and cancellations per agency partner requests
• Answer Personal Lines phone queue
• Respond to agency and carrier requests for information
• Provide coverage options for existing customers
• Respond to agency partners on claims and billing issues, and engage carrier partners as needed for information
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Hold an active state insurance license
• One to two years relevant Personal Lines insurance experience
• Carrier rating experience
• Strong PC skills with proficiency in Word & Excel
• Attention to detail and also possess the ability to efficiently multi-task
• Self-Motivated with ability to thrive in a production focused Team Environment
• Committed to excellent customer service
