About the position

Syneos Health is seeking a Learning Business Partner (L&D Advisor) to support the Immunology Portfolio Solutions franchise for our highly prestigious, respected client. The Learning Business Partner (LBP) is a critical position on the Immunology Learning Excellence team with the core remit of developing a learning continuum aligned to the annual business plan to enhance field competitiveness and impact. The LBP will be responsible for developing content to support the learning journey that enhances field effectiveness for new hires and accelerates the impact for all field sales personnel. This role is essential in ensuring that the sales team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively promote and sell our products in the competitive pharmaceutical landscape. The LBP will develop learning journeys and identify the content needed to support field personnel. This includes collaborating with agency partners and Center of Excellence personnel to develop and gain approval for new content. The LBP will also develop content to support new hire onboarding and POA workshops as needed in partnership with the franchise Learning Execution Manager. Additionally, the LBP will partner with field leadership and sales analytics teams to identify opportunities to improve sales performance through focused training within the assigned franchise. This role requires close collaboration with the National Sales Director and Region Business Directors to identify and prioritize opportunities for District Manager development, as well as the development of a learning journey for District Manager development. The LBP will utilize and monitor project timelines, resources, and budget projections for short- and long-term high impact training programs, ensuring that all training initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Develops learning journeys and identifies the content needed to support field personnel.
  • Collaborates with agency partners and Center of Excellence personnel to develop and gain approval for new content.
  • Develops content to support new hire onboarding and POA workshops as needed in partnership with the franchise Learning Execution Manager.
  • Partners with the field leadership and sales analytics teams to identify opportunities to improve sales performance through focused training within the assigned franchise.
  • Partners closely with the National Sales Director and Region Business Directors to identify and prioritize the opportunities for District Manager development.
  • Collaborates with Center of Excellence to develop a learning journey for District Manager development.
  • Utilizes and monitors project timelines, resources, and budget projections for short- and long-term high impact training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience and 3 years of Pharmaceutical or Biotech Sales experience is required.
  • Content development experience required.
  • Previous pharmaceutical sales/marketing or pharmaceutical sales training experience as a field learning advisor or class learning advisor is preferred.
  • Immunology/specialty sales experience is preferred.
  • Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Rheumatology and/or Immunology Portfolio Solutions (IPS) experience is a plus.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to collaborate with marketing, branding, Learning Center of Excellence, etc.
  • Experience with biologic fulfillment using medical and pharmacy benefit is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous pharmaceutical sales/marketing or pharmaceutical sales training experience as a field learning advisor or class learning advisor is preferred.
