About the position

As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy team, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This position is designed for PharmD graduates who are looking to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy environment. You will be involved in ensuring patient safety, adhering to regulatory requirements, and delivering exceptional customer service while managing pharmacy operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care and ensure a safe pharmacy environment.
• Support the Pharmacy manager in developing and motivating Pharmacy Support Staff.
• Identify business opportunities and implement solutions to improve pharmacy performance.
• Adapt to changes in a dynamic healthcare setting and collaborate with team members.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes enthusiasm and pride in patient care.
• Apply knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• 0-3 years prior relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP.
• Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
