About the position
Times Pharmacy is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals for the role of Pharmacy Medical Biller. This temporary, part-time position involves processing and submitting claims for vaccination clinics, ensuring accurate billing and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Enter vaccination clinic claims into pharmacy billing systems
- Process and organize vaccination clinic files
- Follow all operating policies and procedures
- Conduct work in a professional manner at all times and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain proper phone etiquette when verifying health information with patients and/or healthcare professionals
- Assist with additional duties as needed, such as attending vaccination clinics and assisting with paperwork
Requirements
- Medical billing and coding experience preferred
- Cash register experience preferred
- Data entry and computer typing skills
- Phone operation and etiquette skills
- Basic arithmetic skills with calculator use
