About the position
Do you have a passion for photography? Do you enjoy working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old? Lifetouch Preschool Portraits is ready to provide you with the tools you need to succeed! Our Preschool Photographers capture modern, studio-quality photography in childcare centers nationwide. We are seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our growing team. As a Photographer, you will travel to local preschool centers and capture high-quality photographs of children. You will be trained on how to photograph and operationally execute successful Picture Days, so photography experience is not required. Your role will involve making children, parents, and center directors smile—all day, every day! This is a full-time position with expected hours ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week, primarily during the day from Monday to Friday. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a background check and motor vehicle check.
Responsibilities
- Travel to local preschool centers to capture high-quality photographs of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
- Execute successful Picture Days operationally and photographically.
- Ensure a positive experience for children, parents, and center directors during photo sessions.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance photography skills and operational knowledge.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Driver's License is required.
- Customer service experience preferred (1 year).
- Ability to commute to various locations in Portland, OR.
- No prior photography experience needed, as training will be provided.
