About the position

This is a pelvic health physical therapy position supporting adult female and male patients with pelvic floor dysfunction and bowel dysfunction. This position will treat patients with pelvic floor dyssynergia and constipation, along with complex pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary dysfunction.

Responsibilities

  • Support adult female and male patients with pelvic floor dysfunction and bowel dysfunction.
  • Treat patients with pelvic floor dyssynergia and constipation.
  • Address complex pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary dysfunction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
  • Two years of outpatient physical therapy experience, including experience in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy.
  • Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Women's Health Physical Therapy.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required within the first 90 days of hire.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with sEMG perineal biofeedback.
  • Dry needling certified.
  • Advanced training in pain neuroscience.
  • Additional education and training in pelvic rehabilitation and/or manual therapy.
