About the position

Team Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join their network of outpatient clinics. The role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to help them recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to delivering exceptional therapy with measurable outcomes, contributing to the clinic's mission of providing high-quality therapy services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent health care for patients, ensuring good outcomes and satisfaction with their therapy experience.
  • Evaluate new patients to understand their medical and emotional situations and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Treat patients while setting measurable, functional goals and addressing their concerns about injuries and progress.
  • Educate patients on treatment options and home exercises to complement clinical sessions.
  • Supervise aides in providing modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, including setup and cleanup duties.
  • Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, revising care plans and goals as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Address pain management as a crucial component of care, utilizing techniques to assist in pain reduction and improve daily functions.
  • Determine when to discharge patients, teaching them proper mechanics and strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Write timely and accurate documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, expected to handle 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations weekly.
  • Participate in research studies and help develop protocols for common diagnoses.
  • Provide input on policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care across all clinics.
  • Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Continue developing skills by staying updated on the latest research and techniques, attending CEUs and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Doctorate or Masters in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Physical Therapy License
