About The Position

The Physical Therapy Aide will assist the Patient Experience Coordinator and clinicians in providing exceptional rehabilitative services. This role involves greeting patients, supporting physical therapists during treatments, and performing various administrative and clinical duties in compliance with state practice act requirements. Requirements

• High school graduate or intern preferred.
• Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to clearly document all projects and manage production.
• Attention to detail and time management skills are required.
• Energetic and a team player with the ability to demonstrate compassion toward patients.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinical setting as a Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments by putting on and removing supportive devices.
• Assist physical therapists during the administration of treatments and provide routine treatment.
• Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities under professional staff direction.
• Provide routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and other modalities like Ultrasounds and Electrical stimulation.
• Clean work area and equipment after treatment.
• Wash linens/towels, fold, and maintain linen cabinets.
• Maintain restrooms and other areas, restocking supplies as needed.
• Assist the Patient Experience Coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments, and filing paperwork.
• Keep track of both non-medical and medical supplies for the clinic and may order inventory.
