About the position

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position at Genesis Healthcare is a part-time role focused on delivering primary and urgent care services to residents in a nursing center. Responsibilities

  • Provide primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents.
  • Collaborate with the Center Leadership Team to achieve center-specific goals and priorities.
  • Work with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient-specific medical care.
  • Participate in a comprehensive training program and ongoing clinical education.
  • Mentor new and recent graduates in clinical practices.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a program accredited by the ARC-PA.
  • Pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to use the PAC designation.
  • Hold a valid PA state licensure and NCCPA certification.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations is preferred.
  • Possess an unrestricted professional license and DEA in states where practice allows.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in wound care or palliative care services.
  • Previous work in a long-term care or sub-acute setting.
