About the position

Northeast Regional Medical Center (NERMC) in Kirksville, MO is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join their clinic. This position involves supervising a team of providers and offers opportunities for teaching within the hospital's residency programs. NERMC is a 93-bed facility that serves as a teaching hospital and has recently formed a strategic relationship with the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Join the Internal Medicine clinic and provide patient care.
• Supervise 1.6 FTE's of providers including MDs and DOs.
• Participate in teaching within the residency programs.
• Collaborate with other residency programs affiliated with A.T. Still University.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing efforts.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or eligibility for certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
