Administrative and Support Services

About the position

CompHealth is currently assisting a California group with their search for an interventional cardiologist. This position has become available due to the growth of the practice and the retirement of one of their physicians. The successful candidate will join a highly respected and diverse group of specialists, working in a wonderful catheterization lab that provides a great environment for both patients and staff. This opportunity is not only lucrative but also rewarding, allowing the new physician to take over an existing patient base, with the expectation of seeing between 20 and 30 patients per day. The work schedule is traditional, running from Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, which promotes a great work-life balance. The physician will also share in a call schedule of 1:5 or better, ensuring manageable on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position will be hardworking, possess a pleasant bedside manner, and be able to work well with others, including both hospital and office staff. CompHealth encourages final-year fellows to apply for this position, which offers a partnership track with a salary based on experience. The benefits package is comprehensive, including medical benefits, vacation/PTO, relocation assistance, a liberal sign-on bonus, $6,500 for continuing medical education (CME), a 401(k) retirement plan, and malpractice insurance. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established group with a great cath lab and another one coming soon, along with a strong and experienced staff. The position involves both inpatient and outpatient practice, and the need for this role is driven by community growth and the retirement of a current physician. The practice is located close to the Bay Area, offering a rewarding compensation package and a supportive work environment.
