About the position

The University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Rheumatologist Physician to join a community-based practice in Maple Grove, MN. This role involves providing high-quality rheumatology care in a multi-specialty clinic that offers a range of services, including on-site imaging and lab facilities. The position allows for collaboration with both community and academic-based rheumatologists and offers the opportunity to focus on specific areas of interest within rheumatology. The role includes clinical duties at the M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center, with a supportive referral base and integrated electronic medical records system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality rheumatology care to adult patients.
  • Perform joint injections and other rheumatology procedures.
  • Collaborate with community and academic-based rheumatologists.
  • Utilize on-site imaging and lab facilities for patient care.
  • Participate in a call rotation of 1:4, primarily phone calls with low volume.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship training program.
  • Board eligible/certified with the ABIM for internal medicine and rheumatology.
  • Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
