About the position

A SkyWest Pathway Pilot position will provide you with benefits that include enhanced company seniority, guaranteed interview, access to a Pathway Advocate, and an interview prep session. This program is designed for students to remain at their campus to complete their flight training while being mentored by SkyWest advocates and pilots. Participants may also have the opportunity to engage in SkyWest recruiting events and outreach programs. Please note that this is an unpaid position, but lodging will be provided if required to travel for company business.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with SkyWest mentors
• Participate in SkyWest recruiting events and outreach programs
• Update flight hours monthly through the SkyWest online portal

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be an active student at a certified flight school (part 61 or 141) or actively engaged in time building toward becoming a commercial pilot
• Must be a U.S. citizen or able to show proof of right to work in the U.S.
• May not have more than two check ride failures
• Must hold a Private Pilot License, an Instrument Rating, and a Commercial Rating if not enrolled at one of SkyWest's elite partners
• Must have a minimum of 250 flight hours
