About the position
The Pipe Foreman with Crew is responsible for directing and supervising a team on project sites, ensuring that underground utility installations and modifications are completed effectively and efficiently while adhering to all applicable standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise crew on project site to ensure effective and efficient work completion.
- Install and modify water, sewer, and drainage systems including gravity sewer, force main, lift stations, and more.
- Shoot line and grade and read construction drawings.
- Promote open communication with team members and manage projects to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Operate equipment or vehicles as required.
- Generate detailed documentation including daily reports and logs for project tracking and monitoring.
- Enter all time for the entire crew for time tracking, job costing, and weekly payroll.
Requirements
- Experience in underground utility installation and modification.
- Ability to shoot line and grade and read construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills to promote teamwork and compliance with specifications.
- Experience in operating relevant equipment or vehicles.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with pressure testing, inspection, cleaning, and chlorination of utility systems.
