The Planner - Space Management position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Space Planning + Management department, reporting to the Director of Campus Planning. The Space Planner will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in space inventory management, coordinating and analyzing the space inventory database, and addressing technical or workflow issues related to data management. In this role, the Space Planner will collaborate closely with the Assistant Director of Space Planning + Management and the Senior Manager of Space Data Systems. Responsibilities include managing the enterprise portfolio space data, supporting intramural and extramural reporting, and ensuring data integrity and availability across various systems. The Space Planner will also work with institutional partners to foster strong working relationships and will be proactive in defining and producing work products. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can streamline SP+M services and enhance data integrity and analytics. The role encompasses administrative responsibilities, database management, occupancy planning, and GIS analytics. The Space Planner will maintain and track space inventory data, collaborate with the Document Management Coordinator, implement best practices in data management, and assist with planning studies that support strategic goals. The position also involves analyzing spatial data, developing data visualizations, and administering relational databases to support enterprise geodatabase hosting. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and at least five years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on communication skills and attention to detail.
