About The Position

SDI Bio Carbon Solutions is seeking innovative Electrical Engineering Candidates! This position will be a member of a CORE TEAM responsible for the design, engineering, procurement, and construction of an SDI BCS facility! This facility will be a GREENFIELD start up facility using an innovative and proven technology from our JV partner Aymium, to convert Biomass into a direct carbon replacement suitable for steel making. The facility will be located somewhere in the Columbus, MS area! Once construction is completed and we transition to operation, the Plant Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all incoming plant power distribution, and operational equipment. This position is also responsible for capital projects throughout the plant as well as engineering assistance with the operations and maintenance of the facility as required. Requirements

• BSEE or BSEET
• 5 plus years' experience
• Demonstrates through actions and words that safety is a core value
• Ability to lead and manage contractors and engineering firms
• Self-Starter

Responsibilities

• Direct involvement in the design, engineering, procurement, and construction of the SDI BCS facility.
• Electrical engineering of various plant projects including design, purchase, and installation of equipment.
• Instrumentation, Controls, PLC's, and HMI's.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures.
• High voltage power distribution up to 345kV, protective relaying, transformer, and switchgear maintenance.
• Interview, train, and supervise electrical maintenance personnel.
• Plan & organize maintenance shutdowns.
• Plan & execute facility construction projects.
