About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Power Platform and Point Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining solutions within the Power Platform and Point platforms to meet business needs. Additionally, you will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and providing support to ensure the effective utilization of the platform. As a Power Platform Developer, you will design, develop, and implement solutions within Power Platform and Point. This includes customizing Power Platform applications to meet specific business requirements, developing and maintaining processes to provision and maintain Point sites, and ensuring seamless integrations with other systems and applications. You will be expected to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices to enhance the functionality and performance of the platforms. In the capacity of a Systems Analyst, you will work closely with business users to understand their needs and pain points. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs. You will also identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline workflows using Power Platform, conducting impact analysis and risk assessment for proposed changes. Your role will also encompass providing ongoing support and maintenance for the Power Platform and Point farms. This includes troubleshooting issues, investigating root causes, and implementing effective solutions. You will monitor platform performance to ensure high availability and reliability, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within Power Platform and Point.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Strong proficiency in Power platform development, including Canvas Apps, Model driven apps, Workflows, and Integrations.
  • Experience with Point 2019 services and patching.
  • Preferred experience in one or more of the following: Javascript, REST APIs, Power Shell, Github, Azure DevOps, Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a Power Platform Developer, Point administrator, Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Power Platform certification(s) preferred.
