About the position

As a Marketing Communications Intern at H.B. Fuller, you will be an integral part of our global Hygiene, Health and Consumable (HHC) Adhesives Product Management and Marketing (PM&M) team, located at the Willow Lake campus in Vadnais Heights. This internship is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the adhesive industry while allowing you to contribute to meaningful projects that impact our organization. You will work closely with marketers, sales professionals, and key business partners to develop your project management skills and learn how different functions collaborate to drive growth opportunities in the market. The internship program spans 12 weeks, beginning at the end of May and running through mid-August. During this time, you will engage in various activities, including an interactive orientation, networking events, and volunteer opportunities. You will also have the chance to present your work at the end of the summer, showcasing your career development and the impact of your projects. The types of projects you will be involved in include tradeshow preparation, supporting product launches, creating marketing collateral, and managing social media campaigns. This internship serves as a stepping stone for a long-term career path within H.B. Fuller, providing you with the skills and experience necessary to succeed in the marketing field.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketers, sales professionals, and key business partners on assigned projects.
  • Demonstrate project management skills while working on various marketing initiatives.
  • Support tradeshow preparation and create a strategic marketing vision for the event.
  • Assist in innovation week product launches, including presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Create scripts and help run a LinkedIn social media campaign promoting a strategic product line.
  • Supervise the creation of a Troubleshooting Tutorial Video for the Flexible Packaging market segment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Detail-oriented and able to be a self-starter to complete projects.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in video editing software.
  • Prior experience with graphic design tools such as Canva.
  • Upcoming Junior or Senior level student.
