About The Position

The Production Supervisor at Crown Linen LLC is responsible for overseeing the overall production output during the assigned shift. This role involves managing the workforce, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and fostering customer relations. The supervisor will also be tasked with training new employees and ensuring adherence to schedules and performance expectations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Management or equivalent Technical degree.
• 1 year of supervisory/operations/management experience, preferably in laundry operations or large-scale facilities.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or Creole) highly preferred.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a changing environment.
• Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in commercial or hospitality laundry operations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises work performed in the facility laundry areas including receiving, cleaning, and distribution of laundry.
• Manages schedule adherence, assigns and directs work, and appraises and motivates staff performance.
• Communicates business expectations effectively to all team members.
• Develops, mentors, and assesses the performance of assigned teams.
• Supervises the pick-up, sorting, and distribution of laundry to customers.
• Trains new hires prior to actual work performed.
• Maintains a safe working environment and trains employees in safety awareness.
• Completes maintenance inspections, end-of-shift reports, and weekly inventories.
• Routinely inspects clothing and laundry for repair or disposal.
• Documents and addresses unsatisfactory production performance and discipline issues.
• Advises management on hiring, termination procedures, and performance evaluations.
• Provides daily information for Weekly Operating Reports and Key Performance Indicators.
