Political-Military Analyst

About the position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Political-Military Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to provide All Source political/military and military capabilities (MILCAP) analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic all source political and military analysis addressing military and security organizations and related issues within regions, countries, and or locations as designated by the Government.
• Monitor existing events, regional political and military leadership, security and military forces capabilities and intentions, and order of battle.
• Produce strategic assessments and intelligence products to meet requirements as designated by the Government.
• Provide strategic level products on foreign military, security, and related political issues.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with intelligence analysis, U.S. government all-source analytic production, or specialized intelligence analysis training.
• BA or BS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, or National Security preferred; 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with all-source analytic tradecraft and ICD 203 and 206.
• Ability to produce high-quality verbal and written products on complex technical concepts with little lead time.
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of US IC and Combatant Command environments.
• Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings.
• Master's degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, National Security Studies, or a related research field a plus.
