Pool: Finance Student Assistant

About the position

The Finance academic area at KU School of Business is hiring for a student hourly position. This role involves various responsibilities that support the academic functions of the department. The position is designed for students who are looking to gain experience while contributing to the educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Holding office hours (30%)
• Preparing class materials (30%)
• Grading (10%)
• Special projects (10%)
• Gathering data and research (10%)
• Other duties as assigned (10%)

Requirements

• Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours.
• For summer periods, the student hourly must have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester, be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours, be enrolled in summer session, or be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.

Nice-to-haves

• Current KU Business student.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel)
