The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) is seeking a Portfolio Facilitator to play a pivotal role in supporting the Grid Transition Team and ensuring the successful completion of goals for the Energy Security team. As New York's power grid undergoes significant changes to meet the state's clean energy objectives, the Portfolio Facilitator will be responsible for liaising across various departments within the organization. This position will involve developing and implementing strategies that align with NYISO's Strategic Plan, particularly focusing on the transition to a carbon-free grid. The successful candidate will assist the Manager of Energy Security in tracking and coordinating Energy Security strategies, developing metrics to identify key drivers affecting the reliability of the New York Grid, and creating dashboards to visualize generator participation in regulatory programs. In this role, the Portfolio Facilitator will also be tasked with project tracking and coordination of interconnection queues, ensuring that project statuses and their impacts on grid reliability are well communicated. The position requires the ability to prepare and analyze data queries, reports, and presentations to support special studies and regulatory filings. The Portfolio Facilitator will facilitate information exchange across various departments, including Planning, Operations, and Market, and will be responsible for migrating dashboards to online platforms like Tableau. Additionally, the role involves mentoring fellow team members and representing NYISO on industry committees related to Energy Security.
