About the position

The Portfolio Leasing Manager is a key role within the Asset Services Department of a Boston-based Real Estate Development and Investment company. This position is responsible for overseeing the commercial and residential leasing processes, managing tenant relationships, and supporting various asset management duties. The role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with internal teams and external brokers to maximize occupancy and revenue across the property portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and manage the leasing process for the commercial portfolio, including broker tours and lease negotiations.
  • Oversee leasing of the residential portfolio to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Perform analysis supporting leasing activity and share insights with management.
  • Manage inter-departmental coordination in support of leasing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with commercial tenants.
  • Administer programming and content delivered to tenants in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Research market data to support real estate strategies and transaction objectives.
  • Assist in the development of annual property operating budgets.
  • Prepare periodic portfolio analysis and reporting.
  • Support property acquisitions by assisting with due diligence activities.
  • Assist with property disposition activities, including marketing and prospect outreach.
  • Provide leasing data and market knowledge for financing efforts.
  • Assist with special projects supporting the Asset Services team.
  • Support the operation and implementation of various data systems within organizational processes.
  • Leverage real estate technology platforms to monitor and report on data submitted.
  • Forge strong relationships with brokerage partners and resolve challenges as they arise.
  • Assess implementation of strategic initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain a database of photographs from properties across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in asset management, real estate, leasing, or related fields.
  • Self-starter with a passion for commercial real estate, particularly in leasing.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on driving growth and building strong client and brokerage relationships.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and ability to negotiate lease deals that align with client needs.
  • Strategic thinker capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with real estate technology platforms such as View the Space (VTS).
  • Proven track record of success in commercial leasing.
