About the position

Beta Wealth Group is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for the markets and portfolio management for this client-facing role. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for overseeing investment portfolios, analyzing financial data, and developing strategies to maximize returns while managing risks effectively. This position requires a hands-on approach to portfolio management, with assets including individual stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, structured notes, options, fixed income, and alternative investments. In this role, the Portfolio Manager will conduct financial analysis to assess the performance of investment portfolios and develop and implement investment strategies based on market trends and client goals. Monitoring portfolio performance and making adjustments as needed to optimize returns is a critical aspect of the job. The Portfolio Manager will also manage relationships with clients, providing financial advice and addressing inquiries, ensuring that clients are well-informed and satisfied with their investment strategies. Utilizing financial software for portfolio management and reporting is essential, as is conducting research on various investment opportunities and market conditions. Implementing risk management strategies to protect assets and minimize losses is a key responsibility. Additionally, the Portfolio Manager will present in client meetings on performance, portfolio review, asset allocation changes, and market commentary, ensuring clear communication and transparency with clients.

Requirements
