Responsibilities

Requirements

• Ph.D. in chemistry or materials science.
• Must have successfully defended and submitted dissertation by hire date.
• Excellent track record of productive and creative research demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with group members and external collaborators.
• Proven ability to set priorities, multi-task, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge and experience in metal-organic framework (MOF) or covalent organic framework (COF) chemistry.
• Significant background in organic synthesis and characterization, particularly ligand design for transition metals.
• Expertise in single crystal X-ray diffraction and powder X-ray diffraction.
