Post Install Manager

About the position

The Post Install Manager at V3 Electric is responsible for overseeing the post-installation operations of solar projects, ensuring that all key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. This role involves managing the transition from installation completion to final customer sign-off, improving service efficiency, and leading a team to deliver high-quality service. The position emphasizes leadership development and operational excellence within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive Post-Install KPI's: Ensure projects are completed from installation to PTO (Permission to Operate) within 45 days.
• Manage the transition from PTO to Final Completion within 7 days.
• Reduce inspection backlog and overall post-install backlog.
• Improve service/inspection scheduled vs. completed percentage.
• Hire and develop top talent to improve the capabilities and performance of the post-install team.
• Conduct field visits to train and verify the comprehension of field technicians.
• Implement and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as established by V3.
• Ensure quality workmanship is delivered on all post-install appointments.
• Oversee inspections and ensure that all completed projects meet company quality standards.
• Provide consistent feedback and support to team members to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in solar energy or related industries (post-install experience preferred).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in the field as needed to support, train, and audit team members.
• Familiarity with SLA's and SOP's within operational settings.
• Proficiency in tracking KPIs and using data to drive decision-making.
