About the position

The Post Silicon Product Engineer at Amazon Lab126 is responsible for driving continuous improvement in product definition through data analysis and automation. This role involves in-depth investigation of quality and reliability issues, utilizing strong analytical skills to enhance product performance and customer experience. The engineer will work across various technology areas, focusing on both silicon and system-level challenges, and will lead efforts in applying new technologies to large-scale deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed data analysis of ATE Test, SLT test, and System test data to drive corrective actions and provide insights for debugging.
  • Automate data analysis processes from WAT, wafer sort, package test, and system test to improve yield and test coverage.
  • Define DOEs and characterization efforts to enhance functional and structural test coverage at ATE and system levels.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for cross-functional teams to review key metrics and automate alerts for various issues.
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and logistics for materials supporting SoC development, collaborating with OSAT suppliers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in data analysis and automation using Python.
  • Experience with semiconductor test insertions/flows and CMOS fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools for correlation, predictive modeling, and sample testing.
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction from databases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with yield analysis tools like JMP and Yield Explorer.
  • Familiarity with creating dashboards in Quicksight, PowerBI, or Tableau.
  • Experience in driving failure analysis and debug for speed-path issues and defects.
  • Knowledge of AWS tools such as Lambda functions, Sagemaker, and QuickSight for data analysis.
