Power BI Lead

About the position

As a Power Platform Developer at FreshDirect you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents). You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other solution architects to build powerful, user-centric solutions that enhance operational efficiency, automate workflows, and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and build custom apps using PowerApps to solve business problems.
• Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions in Power BI.
• Build intelligent chatbots using Power Virtual Agents to automate customer service.
• Integrate Power Platform applications with other Microsoft services and third-party systems.
• Customize and extend Power Platform capabilities using advanced techniques.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Power Platform solutions, from design to deployment.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Azure.
• Strong knowledge using databases like Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs, web services, and using custom connectors.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and analytics principles.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with PowerApps component framework (PCF).
• Experience with DAX, M language, and Power Query for Power BI.
• Experience working in a consulting, client-facing, or enterprise environment.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
