About the position

As a Center Director at Acelero Learning, you will play a pivotal role in supporting early childhood education programs across the country, ensuring that all children and families served achieve positive outcomes. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the full implementation of Acelero Learning's early learning system, policies, procedures, and tools, with a focus on helping children meet their School Readiness Goals. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about building a better future for children, families, and their communities. In this role, you will supervise all teaching staff, including teachers, assistant teachers, floaters, substitutes, and extended day staff. You will provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure that all staff members successfully fulfill their roles. As an education lead for the center, you will oversee the implementation of all aspects of education services, providing supervision, training, and monitoring to teachers. Your leadership will inspire others as you create a vision for the program and drive towards results while maintaining a focus on processes and relationships. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures, completing all human resources activities, and building the leadership capacity of others by sharing authority in meaningful ways. A bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all teaching staff including teachers, assistant teachers, floaters, substitutes, and extended day staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with at least six courses in Early Childhood Education; Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least one year of experience with supervision, management, or coaching.
  • Effective operating, management, and relationship skills.
  • Availability to work 8:30-4:30, M-F.
