Pricing Analyst, Rental Car

About the position

This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office. We're a data-driven organization, which makes our Analytics and Data Science teams the brains of our operation. On the cutting edge of customer and business analytics, they make sure all our decisions and innovations are based on the latest insights. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be involved in highly strategic and impactful initiatives related to Rental Car pricing & business development domains.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor KPIs related to rental car pricing, analyze business performance, and recommend actions based on key insights.
• Develop and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards with the latest features to generate timely actionable insights.
• Work with the Pricing Manager to hypothesize, implement, monitor and deploy pricing A/B tests using complex algorithms.
• Monitor rate parity to keep track of pricing on the competitor's landscape. Find insights and provide strategic recommendations accordingly.
• Partner with the business team to price new supplies, promotions and other initiatives. Review monthly pricing KPIs with account managers.
• Create automated alerts to monitor anomalies related to pricing, business performance and supplier activity.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather insights and influence decision making.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of work experience or internship analyzing large and complex data sets, preferably in the eCommerce or travel industry.
• Experience in developing pricing strategies for online businesses.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from top university in a quantitative subject (e.g., science or math). MBA a plus.
• Advanced Tableau and SQL experience is required. Experience with Python is preferred.
• Hands on experience with data technologies like Google Cloud, AWS, etc.
• Ability to articulate actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
• Must be a team player and should be able to work with minimum supervision.

• Unquestionable integrity and ethics is essential.
