The Quantitative Engineer will lead initiatives on developing quantitative methodologies and providing quantitative analysis to support engineering studies, plans, calculations, evaluations, design documents, integrated systems analysis, cost estimates, budgets, associated with the research, planning, design, operation, and maintenance of Exelon Utilities' overall strategic plans and initiatives. The Quantitative Engineer will develop and maintain quantitative analytical models and methodologies to identify trends and predict outcomes, provide explanations of the modeling and its results to management and senior leaders. The person will be responsible for monitoring and responding to business needs by staying abreast of developments in the energy industry and provide analysis/reports to meet those needs. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). You must be able to sit within our services areas to be considered (Baltimore, MD - Chicago, IL - Oakbrook Terrace, IL - Philadelphia, PA - Washington, DC).
