About the position

As a Principal Agile Coach at Epsilon, you will guide and empower teams to adopt and excel in Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Your leadership will play a crucial role in enhancing Agile practices across the organization, driving successful outcomes and ensuring teams continuously adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Agile and Engineering leaders to implement Agility goals and centralized decisions.
  • Help teams select and maintain suitable Agile frameworks that align with their goals.
  • Facilitate purpose-driven Agile events, including quarterly release planning and product planning activities.
  • Coach teams and Product leads in Portfolio Management, using flow metrics to drive improvements.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and develop actionable coaching plans.
  • Analyze data and reports for trends to guide Scrum Masters in enhancing team performance.
  • Utilize enterprise Agile workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Structure, Easy BI) for effective tracking and reporting.
  • Facilitate a Team of Teams model to manage dependencies at scale.
  • Collaborate closely with Product leads to ensure alignment with Product Strategy and delivery efforts.
  • Mentor Scrum Masters and lead Community of Practice sessions to promote Lean-Agile practices.
  • Deliver Agile and Scrum training sessions and targeted workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 12+ years of overall experience.
  • 6-8+ years of experience as an Enterprise Agile Coach with matrixed teams.
  • Strong background as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach with a proven track record of successful team transformations.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying Agile concepts to all organizational levels.
  • Ability to blend various Agile frameworks and technical practices for effective coaching.
  • Proficiency in enterprise Agile tools and communication software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and positively impact organizational coaching.
