The Principal Business Intelligence Analyst at Walker Healthforce is responsible for providing data-driven decision support to healthcare leaders, utilizing insights to drive impactful outcomes. This role involves collaborating with leaders to design metrics, build reports, and create effective data solutions, while also managing complex projects independently and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Provides data-driven decision support to healthcare leaders.
• Collaborates with leaders to design metrics and build reports.
• Creates effective data solutions and analyzes reporting processes.
• Mentors team members and offers constructive feedback.
• Manages complex, large-scale projects independently, tracking deliverables and resolving conflicts.
• Documents and ensures process accuracy, training end-users as needed.
• Stays updated on healthcare developments through webinars and educational resources.
• Applies statistical analysis to produce actionable insights.
• Serves as a key liaison between Analytics and business leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Science.
• 6 years of experience in a healthcare or business setting.
• Epic experience.
• Expert in the use of Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools and report building.
• Experience in the use of any Enterprise Databases or shared data repository.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) report development.
• Experience in the use of a programming language.

• Master's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Science.
