The Principal Business Intelligence Analyst at Walker Healthforce plays a crucial role in providing data-driven decision support to healthcare leaders. This position involves collaborating with leaders to design metrics, build reports, and create effective data solutions, while also managing complex projects and mentoring team members. The analyst will apply statistical analysis to produce actionable insights and serve as a key liaison between analytics and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provides data-driven decision support to healthcare leaders, using insights to drive impact.
• Collaborates with leaders to design metrics, build reports, and create effective data solutions.
• Analyzes and improves reporting processes, mentoring team members and offering constructive feedback.
• Manages complex, large-scale projects independently, tracking deliverables and resolving conflicts.
• Documents and ensures process accuracy, training end-users as needed.
• Stays updated on healthcare developments through webinars and educational resources.
• Applies statistical analysis to produce actionable insights.
• Serves as a key liaison between Analytics and business leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Science
• 6 years of experience in a healthcare or business setting
• Epic experience
• Expert in the use of Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other BI tools and report building
• Experience in the use of any Enterprise Databases or shared data repository
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) report development
• Experience in the use of a programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Applied Science.
