About the position

The Principal Enterprise Agile Lead at Leidos Inc. is a pivotal role that requires an experienced Agile Scrum Master to operate within a Government Intelligence Community (IC) environment. This position is responsible for performing project management tasks that involve coordinating and prioritizing user stories for implementation by team members. The Agile Lead will also be tasked with generating and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics to track the overall efficiency of software delivery across the team. A significant aspect of this role is to facilitate horizontal communication among team members to identify any impediments that may hinder team progress, while also developing mitigation plans as necessary. In addition to project management, the Principal Enterprise Agile Lead will oversee technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. The role involves evaluating alternatives, including cost and risk assessments, supportability, and conducting analyses for total systems. Key duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance. The Agile Lead will apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments, performing work that necessitates practical experience and training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize user stories for implementation by team members.
  • Generate and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics to track software delivery efficiency.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or a Bachelor's degree in a business or management-related field with relevant experience.
  • 12+ years of prior relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or 10+ years with a Master's degree.
  • In-depth experience in a technical field displaying expert domain knowledge.
  • Proven experience in negotiating complex scenarios and devising actionable resolutions.
  • Experience leading critical objectives with significant decision-making responsibilities.
  • Experience supervising others.
