About The Position
The Principal Programmer Analyst determines the SAP Data and Analytics development standards and design patterns, and plays a critical role in development, quality management, and platform enhancements. This position requires advanced knowledge and experience with SAP BW4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, CDS views, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Power BI, along with expertise in data mappings and integrations. The role involves designing, developing, modifying, configuring, debugging, and evaluating analytics application programs across functional business areas. It also includes analyzing existing applications and systems, formulating designs for new systems, performing coding, and testing/debugging programs. The Principal Programmer Analyst consults with business analysts and architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs, modifies and configures applications/systems as specified in the requirements and/or technical design document, and prepares and obtains approval of system and development documentation.
