About The Position

The Principal Server Software Integration Engineer at Qualcomm will lead the technical integration of high-performance software stacks for server products. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful production transitions and the development of innovative solutions for data center applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years, or a PhD with 6+ years.
• 4+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 15 years of experience in embedded software integration.
• Extensive knowledge in SW/FW engineering focused on datacenter solutions (minimum 5 years).
• Experience with SW/FW integration at BIOS/UEFI, BMC firmware, and Operating Systems for server platforms.
• Proven track record in improving integration processes and tools.
• Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions, Python, and C/C++.
• Experience with integration of Open Source code bases and various code licenses.
• Experience with tools and toolchains for C/C++ such as GCC, LLVM.
• Experience in automation and scripting using various languages.
• Experience in building and integrating firmware in environments like Linux VMs or Docker.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end integration of high-performance software stacks for server products.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including SoC, software, firmware, and verification engineering.
• Ensure successful and timely transition to production for server products.
• Contribute to firmware architecture and design focusing on integration and Design For Test (DFT).
• Manage server reference platform software/firmware requirements traceability among teams.
• Work with SW Verification Engineering to validate reference platform requirements at various levels.
• Collaborate with Product Management to address customer platform adoption challenges.
