As a Principal Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers' innovative spirit across a wide range of technologies, including Compute, Storage, Database, Data Analytics, Application-level services, Networking, and Serverless solutions. This position is not a sales role; instead, it offers the opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' for large Fortune 500 and multinational organizations. You will directly influence how our most strategic Enterprise customers utilize AWS, helping executives embrace agility and deliver impactful transformations. In this role, you will interface with enterprise architects to understand business drivers and assess application portfolios, ensuring that cloud solutions are scalable, flexible, and resilient. You will advocate for your customers, shaping the future roadmap of AWS services based on their needs. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing an operational support strategy that fosters customer growth and success on the AWS platform, explaining transformational concepts to executive decision-makers, and mentoring colleagues. You will also be expected to maintain and enhance your technical skills, contribute to the technology community, and develop a passion for educating and enabling cloud solutions experts. Exceptional customer focus and a bias for action are essential, as you will work vigorously to earn and maintain customer trust while communicating a bold direction that inspires results. This position requires travel of 20% or more as needed, reflecting the dynamic nature of the role and the importance of direct customer engagement.
