About the position

The Principal Technical Program Manager for Fintech Risk Technology and Operations at Intuit is responsible for driving enterprise-level outcomes by managing a large portfolio of high-priority deliverables. This role focuses on providing technical guidance, simplifying processes, and ensuring effective communication across cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong strategic partnerships with Engineering Architects and Leaders to provide technical guidance across the organization.
  • Quickly scale a large portfolio of high-priority deliverables independently.
  • Understand the technology landscape and connect various programs within the portfolio to simplify processes.
  • Implement a durable program structure across the portfolio to enable smooth operations.
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to unblock and guide program teams' delivery.
  • Manage risks, issues, and escalations effectively.
  • Communicate portfolio progress to Senior Leaders clearly and effectively.
  • Drive the creation of program roadmaps and execution plans across all phases of planning, development, and production readiness.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in executive teams, product management, and engineering to drive program outcomes.
  • Identify and clarify critical issues and dependencies, driving them to closure while balancing business needs and technical constraints.

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of strong Program Management team leadership experience leading complex software-as-a-service (SaaS) development projects.
  • Excellent influencing skills with the ability to work in a matrix environment and influence at all levels.
  • Outstanding communication skills suitable for executive-level audiences, visually communicating program goals and success criteria.
  • Good understanding of SaaS technologies and collaboration with engineering teams on complex technology programs using Kanban, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with large horizontal programs in close partnership with architectural leaders.
  • Risk, Cybersecurity, and/or Fraud Prevention experience preferred.
