Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Design and architect scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems that meet the evolving needs of the insurance industry.
  • Leverage AI and machine learning techniques to develop intelligent solutions for tasks such as risk assessment, fraud detection, and customer service.
  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, utilizing cloud-based services and best practices.
  • Integrate Twilio's communication APIs into our platform to enable seamless customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the software development landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and their application to software development.
  • Proven ability to design and architect scalable, distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with multi-threaded systems.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Twilio's communication APIs and their integration with software systems.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or communities.
