About The Position

The Procedure Writer II position at ANR Group Inc involves developing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining operational and administrative procedures for a commercial nuclear power plant. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university and six years of experience at a commercial nuclear power plant, four of which must be in operations and/or include procedure writing.
  • OR a high school diploma or GED and ten years of experience at a commercial nuclear power plant, four of which must be in operations and/or include procedure writing.
  • Knowledge of nuclear power plant systems and components.
  • Technical skills commensurate with associated discipline.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with emergency response organization procedures.
  • Familiarity with ALARA, chemical, environmental, and industrial safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, revise, and maintain Operations, Administrative, and other station procedures.
  • Ensure documents are technically correct and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret complex tasks and convert them into understandable sequences of steps.
  • Implement recommendations from Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and other organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with License Bases Documents and other source documents.
  • Prepare and implement Procedure Change Notices.
  • Provide technical expertise on procedure issues and resolve them with reviewers.
  • Develop test methodologies to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
  • Select appropriate test equipment consistent with engineering calculations.
  • Review design changes for procedural impact.
  • Support planned and forced outages and develop procedures for other organizations.
  • Serve as a Qualified Procedure Reviewer and represent the Maintenance Department during review processes.
