About the position

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Process Chemist/Engineer to support silica-based particle manufacturing for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) consumables. This role offers an excellent opportunity to chip in to a high-visibility product line in a growing business. At Agilent, you'll demonstrate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements, product innovation, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily production support for silica-based packing used in HPLC columns.
  • Identify and resolve yield, scrap, and process-related issues.
  • Lead capital and continuous improvement projects to improve product and process performance.
  • Scale and optimize existing chemistries to support product demand and growth.
  • Drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements through Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Implement Management of Change (MoC) processes, lead nonconforming product, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Support new product introductions and chip in to the evolution of existing and new chemistries.
  • Maintain accurate SAP data, including bills of materials and production recipes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 1+ years of proven experience.
  • Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and teamwork abilities.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and project execution.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and data analysis; knowledge of statistical methods is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
