About The Position

The Process Control Lead for Building Access Systems at Stanford University is responsible for leading and directing the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operations of building access systems and electronics. Requirements

• Five years of experience in a related field, particularly in Process Control and/or lead responsibilities.
• Valid California Class C Non-commercial Driver's License.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees.
• Familiarity with site environmental and safety rules, regulations, and requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed locksmith certification in specific electronic access systems; Lenel preferred.
• Contractor's license in related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the work of Master Locksmiths and technicians in building access systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff on building access systems.
• Perform inspections for work quality and scope completeness.
• Develop work scopes and cost estimates for contracted work related to building access systems.
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of electronic building access systems.
• Keep current with technology changes in building access systems and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
