Process Engineer, Assoc

About the position

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Greenwood, IN team! The Process Engineer will provide new programming development, existing program review/validation. Provide the technical expertise necessary to support and maintain existing processes on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supports the operations and production teams through hands-on involvement.
• Defines, interprets and develops quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
• Writes inspection procedures.
• Investigates and analyzes manufacturing and customer issues providing technical assistance in establishing procedures and methods.
• Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections and trends, recommending corrective action as appropriate.
• Performs technical surveillance in the control of products, design concepts, software and specification requirements.
• Provides assistance in the areas of manufacturing processing, equipment and process improvement, quality engineering, software quality, software configuration management and procurement quality engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in engineering or associates + relevant experience.
• Team player, willingness to get the job done.
• Self-motivated and decisive, with a focus on problem solving.
• The ability to work independently and efficiently performing multiple tasks.
• Experience in coatings.
