About The Position

Chime is seeking a Processor Operations Analyst to join the Processor and Platform Operations team. This role focuses on operating core platform capabilities, including card payment processing systems and ACH reconciliation. The analyst will contribute to enhancing the member experience by ensuring efficient financial capabilities that operate 24/7. The position involves collaboration with various teams to improve operational processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years in bank and/or payment operations with a broad understanding of operations including accounting, funds flow, and settlement.
• Strong reconciliation background.
• Understanding of the end-to-end payments ecosystem, including payment methods and regulatory environment.
• Familiarity with ACH originations, returns, and settlements; AAP certification is a plus.
• Experience with network operations including Visa, Mastercard, and other card networks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience with Google Office, analytics platforms, SQL, and core banking systems.
• Experience working cross-functionally with various departments to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
• Experience driving continuous improvement projects.

Nice To Haves

• AAP certification
• Experience with Looker and Snowflake analytics platforms
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in payment processing

Responsibilities

• Join a new team of transaction operations managers.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in payment systems processing and reconciliation operations.
• Develop, implement, and perform cash reconciliations to ensure accurate processing and settlement.
• Evaluate processing controls for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide operational expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to Chime's core banking solutions.
• Use data to monitor processing performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational resiliency.
• Promote tooling solutions that address internal reporting requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and product leaders to set strategic priorities that reduce operational risk.
• Partner with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and payment network requirements.
• Influence operational efficiency and efficacy through subject matter expertise.
