About the position

The Procurement Lead at Cushman & Wakefield will oversee a team of procurement professionals, acting as the primary procurement contact for clients and the leadership team. This role encompasses strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance management, and supplier diversity, particularly within Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and Project Development Services (PDS). The Procurement Lead will leverage the company's aggregate spend to negotiate favorable rates and terms, ensuring alignment with the goals of Cushman & Wakefield's Global Occupier Services (GOS).

Responsibilities

  • Define client category and demand profile for FM and PDS categories.
  • Assess the supply market and develop client category strategy and plans.
  • Execute category management plans and measure benefits.
  • Manage supplier relationships, risks, and performance.
  • Facilitate communication among functional team members for efficient category management.
  • Build strong relationships with business unit stakeholders to incorporate their requirements into sourcing plans.
  • Provide regular project updates and executive briefings to stakeholders.
  • Lead strategic procurement efforts and guide a diverse team toward achieving objectives.
  • Manage resources for project tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Professional certification e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M.
  • Effective interviewing, active listening, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking capabilities.
  • Prior management experience with excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of Facilities Management and/or Project Development Services.
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in supplier risk management techniques.
  • Capacity to develop innovative savings and revenue-generating sourcing programs.
