About the position

The Product & Agile Lead at Cargill is responsible for spearheading the transformation from a project-led to a product-led operating model. This role involves leading a matrixed team of agile coaches, product coaches, and change experts to design and implement a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for the organization. The Lead will collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to align the vision and goals of the transformation, ensuring a smooth transition while monitoring progress and providing support to teams involved.

Responsibilities

  • Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the product and agile transformation alongside senior leaders.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation plan with clear milestones, metrics, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Establish and lead a cross-functional team of agile coaches, product managers, and change managers to facilitate the adoption of agile and product principles.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members and leaders on agile mindset, product model, values, and methods.
  • Facilitate the creation and alignment of product vision, strategy, and roadmap for each team, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Support teams in defining and measuring outcomes and value of their products, prioritizing valuable features and functionalities.
  • Identify and resolve barriers, challenges, and risks that may hinder the transformation, escalating when necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of the transformation using quantitative and qualitative data, reporting results to senior leaders.
  • Manage the transformation roadmap, proposing changes and influencing pivots as needed.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in coaching, mentoring, and training teams and leaders through significant change.
  • Experience leading and managing complex and large-scale projects or programs, preferably in a product-led or agile environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes and value through product and agile transformation in a large organization.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity.
  • Highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
