About the position
The Product Analyst at CLARK Material Handling Company plays a crucial role in coordinating the Program Director group, focusing on the development of forklift and material handling products and strategies. This position involves program management, product strategy formulation, and collaboration with various functions to ensure alignment and efficiency in product development processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist relevant functions such as market research, sales promotion, R&D, manufacturing, and purchasing to derive meaningful input for projects.
- Define target costs and investments, monitoring and managing their evolution.
- Investigate cost-saving opportunities and support their implementation.
- Monitor Total Delivered Cost (TDC) and guide functions to implement best practices across plants.
- Envision future products and concepts that respond to regional and global market needs, establishing mid and long-term product plans for sustainable growth.
- Derive insights and direction for product strategy through in-depth data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business analytics, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in product planning, product development, and project management in the forklift or similar industry.
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proactive, open-minded, and self-disciplined with the ability to handle conflict and change.
- Ability to create well-thought-out documents with proficient knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
