About the position

The Product Control Valuation Oversight Analyst role at Goldman Sachs involves performing transaction analysis on fixed income trades within the Asset Management division. Responsibilities

• Perform transaction analysis on all fixed income trades in Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Public Funds.
• Monitor the quality of pricing vendors and ensure alignment with market standards.
• Review all fixed income security transactions weekly, including buys and sells on bonds.
• Compare prices on official books and records at the fund administrator versus transaction prices.
• Investigate security level differences that exceed tolerance levels.
• Source inputs from multiple systems and compile them into a specific format.
• Review automated calculations for accuracy and generate summary statistics and management reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Intermediate data management skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative.
